Sometimes a photograph can be taken of an everyday object, but be done in such a way as to obscure - at least partially, if not wholly - what the object is. The aim of the photograph is not to have the viewer ponder over what the whole object may be but to see it from the perspective that the photographer did and perhaps go away from it with a different way of looking at things.
